STUDI PENAFSIRAN AYAT-AYAT TENTANG ORANG-ORANG YANG SUKSES DALAM TAFSÎR AL-MARÂGHÎ

Abstract

The human desire for success is a sure thing. Indicators of success are often considered to be limited to worldly things, such as wealth, position, fame and achievements. Qur'an is a way of life for muslims, so they should also make it a barometer for success that expressed by Qur’an with the words al-falâh and al-fauz. This study aims to understand the interpretation of the verses about successful people in Tafsîr al-Marâghî and knows the character that must be possessed as a step towards success. This research is a type of library research that uses documentation methods in data collection and descriptive-analytic techniques with a maudh?'î approach in analysis. The results of this study on the interpretation of the verses about successful people in Tafsîr al-Marâghî show that the lafadz al-falâh includes the meaning of success in the world and in the hereafter in the form of; achieve the desired goal after going through the efforts and difficulties; happy in this world and the hereafter; safe from torment, fear and hate; obtain eternal rewards and pleasures in heaven; and obtain the grace and pleasure of Allah. As for lafadz al-fauz, it is more inclined to success and victory in the hereafter in the form of surviving the punishment; obtain the grace and pleasure of Allah; obtain eternal rewards and pleasures in heaven; and get reward and glory from Allah Ta'âlâ. As for the analysis of the character of successful people, they are believers with strong beliefs, fortify themselves in behavior, cleanse the soul and care for the benefit of the people, have good communication and social skills, have a forward spirit, good behavior and words and have a patient personality.
